2005 RMASFAA

Humor in the Hole

by Shareen Thewke
October 14, 2005

2005 RMASFAA

Jackson Hole, WY was a beautiful spot for our annual conference.  The Wyoming association did an amazing job and deserves a break.

The conference sessions provided valuable information on financial aid policies as well and some important professional development tools.  Speakers included Jeff Baker, Department of Education, Ken Lief from NCHELP to our own Vicki Kucera.

The awards banquet on Tuesday night proved once again what an amazing group of people we work with in Nebraska!!!

Mary Sommers headed-up the RMASFAA committee of the year - Association
Governance.

Linda Adams, Cheri Clark and Bob Walker were inducted into the RMASFAA
Quarter Century Club

Joan Zanders was recognized as the 2005 NASFAA Leadership recipient

Kathy McConnell was inducted into the RMASFAA Hall of Fame.

It was a grand night for celebrating.  Mary was very surprised and Kathy
was speechless!  Many of our members are here to help all celebrate.  It
would have been perfect if all could have been here to help recognize all
the special people and their accomplishments.

Please mark your calendars for RMASFAA 2006 in Salt Lake City.

Below is a slide show of pictures from the conference.  Click on the link below and enjoy!
